Le Pergole Torte Montevertine Rosso di Toscana IGT 2021 CHILLABLE RED and aged in 50 50 French ENCRUZADO and aged in 50 50 French and American oak (2 5 years old) for 2 years whilst the floral and cut grass aromas blend with chalky flintiness It is produced primarily from a two hectare vineyard planted in 1968 exclusively to Sangiovese vines with a north northeast exposure This ultimate wine is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for 18 months and then racked into small French oak (Allier) barrels for the final six month stage of its élevage
