Before registering up for TeachMate service, you must read and understand it. By registering, you acknowledge that these Terms and Conditions will govern the terms of your contract with us. Every time they use the TeachMate service, visitors who do not sign up to become members also agree that they are bound by these terms and conditions.
For Tutors
- You are agreed and liable to pay TeachMate against any loss, claims, causes of action, and liabilities (including reasonable attorney fee) damages caused by you directly or indirectly from the infringe of any applicable law, for your carelessness, or wilful mishap.
- A tuition teacher acknowledges that he is not an employee of TeachMate and accepts full responsibility for all Income Tax and other liabilities payable in relation to any fees generated from a tuition contract.
- When registering for the TeachMate service, a tutor agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date personal information, such as their full name, address, phone number, credentials, and any other information requested. A tutor understands that any information they enter on the website will be visible to the public and could show up in search engine results.
- You understand and know that the relationship between you and TeachMate will not be considered an employee or employer relationship.
- You acknowledge and agree that you will only teach a student if at least one guardian is present in the home.
- If parents or students cause any damages, conflicts, inconveniences, mishaps, or misbehaviour, we are not responsible for recovering or paying for them.
- You acknowledge and agree that you must complete any assignments you have taken on. You must give at least 15 days’ notice in cases of emergency or unavoidable circumstances.
- After receiving tuition, you have 24 hours to set up a demo class; if this doesn’t happen for any reason, you must notify us right away.
- In the following situations, tutor registration will be terminated immediately:
- Any act of misconduct against the TeachMate client or team.
- Two assignments that are consecutively failed for any reason. In certain situations, additional opportunities might be taken into consideration.
- Extended absences without explanation or contact.
d. Deviating from or misinterpreting the regulations.
For Parents
- TeachMate is an online platform that assists students and parents in finding qualified home tutors for their kids.
- TeachMate will assist in locating a tutor who best meets your child’s needs, but it makes no guarantees regarding your child’s success on any tests or exams they may take.
- TeachMate’s return policy has been read and understood by you. You are aware that we are not responsible for finding your child a substitute coach or for returning any money you have paid the tutors in the event that they are unable to provide all or part of the scheduled tuition.
- When entering into or proposing to enter into a tuition contract, the student or parent understands that it is his duty to confirm the credentials and qualifications of any tuition teacher.
- Your child will only get instruction from the tutor if at least one parent is present at home.
- We disclaim all liability for any accidents or inconveniences the tutors may cause.
- We will not be liable for educational costs if parents paid the tuition tutors directly in cash, by account transfer, or by any other method.
- By choosing a tutor, you consent to us sharing your information with tutors, including your name, address, and phone number.
- Before hiring a teacher, TeachMate advises parents and kids to request a copy of the teacher’s ID and proof of address.
- Any financial transactions and reimbursements are also your responsibility. Any fraudulent behaviour is not our responsibility.
General
- Tutors and students/parents using the website will be considered to have accepted these terms.
- Members understand that TeachMate makes no guarantees regarding the website’s lack of viruses, malware, or other dangerous elements.
- TeachMate does not promise to find a student or parent a tuition teacher.
- TeachMate may utilise data for statistical analysis and may share this information with interested parties, as the members acknowledge.
Terms and Conditions Subject to Change
We hold the authority to update, delete, or change these Terms of Use anytime without any notice. Your access and use of this Website following any such change establish your consent to pursue and be bound by these Terms of Use as updated or modified. Subsequently, we suggest you review these Terms of Use each time you access and use this Website.
